Hi Aunt Suzanne,
I am so glad you are enjoying it!
I just went through my blog and realized I never introduced Caya. She has become my best friend here in Aix.
Maybe I will have to do a blog about some of my friends and all the people I have met while in Aix.
Thanks for the idea. I miss you all too and can’t wait to see you at Christmas.

I just looked at your blog today for the first time. Sorry it took me so long to check it out. It sounds like you are having a wonderful experience in France, and you are doing an awesome job of describing it and keeping us all updated. Who is Caya? I saw her name mentioned a few times but couldn’t find where you first introduced her in your blog. We love you and miss you! Je trouve votre message! Merci de lire mon blog. J’étudie à l’Institue pour les étudiants American. Donc j’ai seulement les étudiants American dans mon école. Mais j’ai 2 courses enseigner en Francaise et 3 en Anglais. Aix-en-Provence est une ville très populaire pour les étudiants étrange, donc il y a beaucoup des étudiants internationales. J’avais quelques occasions de faire la connaissance des étudiants francaise et d’autres pays. Je suis très content à Aix!

On va vous écrire en français et peut-être, comme exercise, vous répondrez en français aussi. Nous avons reçu votre courriel aussi bien que le blog que vous avez créé. Vous avez si bien décrit les merveilles et la beauté des
paysages dans le sud de la France. La Côte d’Azur et ses environs constituent un des bijoux de la couronne de la belle France. Le soleil, les plages, la cuisine,les vins et les gens qui habitent cette région tous contribuent à l’ambiance de la vie si different de chez nous. Votre réportage nous rapelle si bien les souvenirs des séjour que nous avons fait en France dans le passé. Au sujet des études, est-ce que la langue d’instruction est français or anglais?
Aussi, combiend’americains y a-t-il dans vos classes? Dans la ville? Profitez

Salut Renee,

Thank you so much for letting me know about your blog! While I have not been to Aix, I have travelled around Provence a bit. I was in a French program in Montpellier- quite a bit west of Aix, but as part of that program we were all around the area – Nimes, Arles, Avignon, Les Beau, Le Camargue- I still remember so much of it and that was 30+ years ago!! The Provencal people are so lovely and the scenery is breathtaking. I will be eager to hear if you experience Le Mistral! Have a wonderful time and I will try to keep up with you.
